Cat Graphic Tee Size Guide: Finding Your Loose Fit and Keeping It Soft

Our tees are designed to fit loose and relaxed, not tight. That is intentional. A little extra room through the body and sleeves is what makes them feel like your favorite old shirt on day one. But loose fit means the sizing question comes up a lot, so here is everything you need.

How our tees are meant to fit

Think boxy, drapey, and comfortable. The shoulder seam sits at or slightly past your shoulder. The body has room to move. The length usually lands around the hip. If you prefer a closer fit, size down one. If you want the oversized look, take your usual size or go up one.

Measure yourself in two minutes

  1. Chest: Wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level. Write the number down.
  2. Length: Measure from the top of your shoulder (next to your neck) straight down to where you want the tee to end.
  3. Compare to a favorite tee: Lay a tee you love flat and measure across the chest just under the arms, then multiply by two. Match that number to our charts below.

Our size charts

Because we make our tees in a few different fabrics and cuts, we have three charts. Each product page links to the one that applies.

Which fabric is right for you

100% cotton (Cartoon Cat, Dream, Joy, Bow Tie, Scarlet) is the softest and most breathable. It may relax slightly with wear and can shrink a touch if dried on high heat.

75/25 cotton-poly blend (our White and Black tees) holds its shape a little better, resists wrinkles, and dries faster. A good choice if you wash often and want the fit to stay consistent.

How to keep the print soft for years

We design our tees to be worn for a long time. A few habits make a real difference:

  • Wash inside out, cold. This protects the graphic from friction and fading.
  • Skip the dryer when you can. Hang or lay flat to dry. If you must use the dryer, use low heat and pull the tee out while slightly damp.
  • Never iron directly on the print. Turn the tee inside out and iron the back side, or steam it.
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Both break down the print over time.
  • Wash with similar colors. Especially for the vanilla and white tees.
